Fee

The fee for joining WWOOF NEPAL is US $30 for one volunteer and US $40 for two volunteers coming together.Membership lasts for one year and you can visit as many hosts in that time as you would like to.

How to Pay

You can make your payment in two ways. The first, and only 100% reliable way is to use the Western Union Money Transfer system. Click the following link to reach the Western Union homepage www.westernunion.com. If you want to pay in this way please contact Mr Regmi for the details. The second way is to pay us when you get to Kathmandu, Nepal in person. We can not take credit cards as this is very costly for us to set up.

Please do not send the membership fee through mail service. This method is not considered 100% reliable.Your payment may take longer then expected to arrive and there is always the possibility that it may not arrive at all.

Due to the remote nature of many of the WWOOF hosts in Nepal it may take several weeks to make all of the necessary arrangements, and since many of the host farms are without electricity, phone or internet access WWOOF Nepal has a unique responsibility in helping you make contact. Mr Regmi cannot contact the host farms on your behalf until your membership fee has been received, so we recommend sending your fee ATLEAST one month before your arrival in the country so there is a reasonable amount of time to contact your host and make all of the necessary arrangements.

Lists of Hosts

When we receive your payment we will send you a list of the hosts in Nepal by email (this means we save paper, ink, printing and mailing costs and most importantly the list stays up to date). You then contact hosts yourself (it is best to contact them as early as possible). Many of our hosts do not have email access or telephones. If you want to WWOOF at one of these places then contact Mr Regmi and he will sort it out for you.

If you decide to pay upon arrival and want to see a list of the hosts before-hand we can send one to you but we can not give out the contact details of the hosts until we have received payment.
